9th Hallym-Uppsala International Symposium on cardiovascular diseases


Hallym University Medical Center and the Uppsala University of Sweden will jointly host the “9th Hallym-Uppsala International Symposium” at Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital next Tuesday.

Under the theme “Novel Approaches in Cardiovascular Disease” medical experts of both institutions will share their thoughts on precision medicine and real world evidence in cardiovascular disease. The symposium will hold two sessions, with a total of 10 presentations.

The first session will present the latest researches to realize precision medical care in the field of cardiovascular disease, while the second session will introduce new concepts of practical clinical studies and clinical trial results.

Among the Uppsala professors who will join the symposium are Kjell Oberg, former dean of the Department of Medicine, and Eva Tiensuu Janson, current dean of the Department of Medicine.
