Symposium: Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals and Human Health
- Date: –
- Location: Universitetshuset, sal IX
- Organiser: Linda Dunder and Monica Lind
- Contact person: Monica Lind
- Seminarium
Deadline for registration is Friday November 25th, registration is mandatory as the number of places is limited to 120 participants.
The symposium is free of charge, but the cost of attending the dinner on December 8 is 550 SEK.
As a follow-up to our 2015 workshop on Environmental Contaminants and Obesity we are now arranging a new symposium with a broader perspective on the current knowledge regarding Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) and Human Health. The symposium will include topics ranging from in silico screening of EDCs and carcinogens, regulatory aspects and costs of EDC related diseases, to food contact materials as a source for EDCs and reported health effects of EDC exposure from epidemiological studies from different countries. The impacts of EDCs on the health of the planet, wildlife, and humans have become major public concerns in many countries worldwide, and ongoing research highlights more than ever the broad range of effects from EDC exposures.
Information regarding registration for the dinner at Thursday night (8th december) will come later for those of you that have registered for the symposium.
Read more about the program and register via the symposium's website.
