Public involvement in research is defined as “research being carried out 'with' or 'by' members of the public rather than 'to', 'about' or 'for' them” (INVOLVE).
Well implemented public involvement can facilitate the conduct of relevant and accessible research, resulting in innovative and impactful solutions to healthcare challenges.
In this seminar we will explore:
- What is public involvement in research?
- Why is it important?
- How can public involvement be integrated into all stages of the research lifecycle?
- How is public involvement different from qualitative research?
The seminar will be in English.
