Improving Economic Models for Antibiotic R&D
- Building on Strengths and Identifying Obstacles to Implementation
This talk will feature ongoing research as well as a research agenda on improving proposed new economic models for antibiotics R&D with an eye to what they arguably either don't do or don't do sufficiently well. Moreover, a second theme concerns not so much the details of the designs of new economic models, as the obstacles to implementation and use of these. A first step will be taken to outline what might explain why so much more workhas been done designing and evaluating, compared to piloting or implementing, policy proposals to support antibiotics R&D. Based on this, avenues for future research will be discussed.
This event will be hosted both onsite and online. Please register here if you want to attend on site since we have a limited amount of seats to mantain proper distance between attendees. http://bit.ly/lunchoct20
