Infrastructures and networks
The Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy offers carefully developed infrastructures and platforms in a variety of research fields. We are also an active partner in several well-established networks that bring together leading players in both research and industry.
Read more about our centres, strategic initiatives and networks. For more information about our infrastructures, please contact the Comittee on Research Infrastructure.
Our centres work with interdisciplinary research or education, while our forums work with contact-creating, mediating or promoting tasks. Areas include research ethics and bioethics, clinical research or diabetes research.
Networks and strategic initiatives
The networks and strategic initiatives gather expertise in specific areas, such as epidemiology, cancer or antibiotic resistance, from several institutions, educational institutions and industrial companies.
Successful research depends on infrastructure of an internationally high standard in the form of experimental equipment, databases, libraries, collections and biobanks.
